The Major League Baseball Players Association is seeking an intern to support its commercial affairs department. This paid internship is involved in all aspects of our business, with a focus on end-to-end projects, research assignments as well as administrative support. Responsibilities include several categories of businesses, retail development, social media, etc. MLBPA is the collective bargaining agent for all current Major League Baseball players. The association also assists players in complaints and salary arbitrations. The Association works closely with MLB to ensure that the playing conditions for all games involving major league players, whether played in MLB stadiums or elsewhere, including internationally, comply with appropriate safety guidelines. The federation also acts as a group licensing agent on behalf of players. Everyone has a passion for sports. Tell us what sets you apart. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and CV. The ideal candidate is a college graduate with excellent communication and organizational skills, a thorough knowledge of baseball players, and an interest in a career in baseball. This is a full-time commitment from January 2016 with a duration of approximately 6 months.
